1. Define the geographic question before judging a source
Cut Off is recorded as a CDP, and its recorded county relationship is Lafourche Parish. Those are useful boundaries for naming a service area, but they are not interchangeable with a market, a household count or a measure of legal need. A report that says “Louisiana,” “Lafourche Parish” or “Cut Off” may be describing different scopes. Lead Attribution can make the source and journey visible; it cannot turn a population estimate into demand evidence. For your firm, the first decision is whether reporting should distinguish Cut Off inquiries from other Lafourche Parish inquiries and from matters elsewhere in Louisiana. That choice should follow your intake records and service territory, not an assumption based on geography.
Recommended approach
At consultation, bring the geographic labels your team already uses. Decide whether Cut Off should be a reportable location, how parish-wide matters are classified, and which location is attached to a lead when the person’s residence, incident location and service area differ.
