Start with the Chackbay service boundary, not a population assumption
The Census identifies Chackbay CDP as being in Lafourche Parish. It does not show how many people contact a particular law firm, which matters they have, how quickly they expect a response or whether they prefer a particular communication channel. Those questions belong in an intake review. A firm may serve Chackbay from an office elsewhere in Louisiana, serve additional parts of Lafourche Parish, or organize work by matter type rather than place. Automation should therefore preserve the distinctions your firm already uses instead of treating a geographic label as a qualification result.
Recommended approach
Bring your actual service-area rules to the consultation. Decide whether Chackbay is used for reporting, routing, intake questions, or only marketing context. Then review whether a location answer should affect ownership, urgency or follow-up at all. Do not use the ACS population estimate as a forecast of cases or revenue.
