1. Set the geographic boundary before discussing budget
A Bogalusa campaign should begin with a precise service-area decision. The Census record identifies Bogalusa city and its relationship to Washington Parish; it does not establish that a campaign should target the entire parish, nearby communities or a larger metropolitan area. Those are separate geographic choices. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads page describes category and geography targeting, including setting service areas deliberately. That makes coverage a decision to document rather than a conclusion to draw from population alone.
Recommended approach
Write down the locations your firm actually serves, the locations it is willing to travel to, and any locations it does not accept. Review those boundaries against the firm’s consultation capacity and applicable advertising rules. Ask Bosseo to show how service areas would be configured and how out-of-area inquiries would be identified and handled. Do not treat Bogalusa’s population estimate as a forecast of calls.
