1. Start with the Addis service boundary
Your firm may serve Addis alone, West Baton Rouge Parish or a wider Louisiana area. Those are different operating boundaries. The Census records Addis as a municipality and places it in West Baton Rouge Parish; it does not describe your client base or the locations your firm accepts. Before configuring call handling, decide which geographic questions the system should capture: where the caller is located, where an incident occurred, whether a matter is within your practice area and whether your firm accepts the jurisdiction. Do not use the town’s population estimate to predict how many people will call.
Recommended approach
Write a plain-language service-area rule for callers and a review rule for matters outside it. During consultation, compare that rule with your actual intake practice and decide which location details belong in every summary.
