1. Define the geography before reading the totals
A location label can hide a material measurement problem. Williamsburg city and Whitley County are not interchangeable, and neither is the same as a broader Kentucky or metropolitan market. The Census records Williamsburg as a municipality in Whitley County and estimates 5,270 residents for the city in the 2020–2024 ACS five-year data. That figure does not establish how many people need legal help, search online, contact a firm or become clients. It does establish why your dashboard should make geographic definitions explicit.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how city, county and any wider service-area labels would appear in the proposed reporting. Decide which geography applies to each practice area, then document whether a lead is attributed to a place because of the search, the page viewed, the caller’s stated location or another rule. Do not combine Williamsburg and Whitley County totals until you know what each total represents.
