1. Start with geographic definitions, not a broad “local” total
The Census record identifies Newport as a municipality in Campbell County. That distinction matters when you review location reporting. A Newport inquiry, a Campbell County inquiry and an inquiry from elsewhere in Kentucky should not be treated as interchangeable simply because they appear in the same marketing account. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes city and case-type data, including questions about which cities produce calls. Before relying on that view, ask how your firm wants “Newport,” “Campbell County” and wider Kentucky coverage represented, and which geographic label should control a management decision.
Recommended approach
Bring a written service-area definition to the consultation. Decide whether the dashboard should distinguish Newport from countywide activity and from other Kentucky locations. Treat the Census population as eligibility context only; do not use it as a forecast of matters or return.
