1. Start with Mayfield’s exact geographic role
The Census record identifies Mayfield as a municipality in Graves County. That distinction matters when you define coverage. A Mayfield page is not automatically a Graves County page, and a countywide footprint is not automatically statewide coverage. If your firm serves clients in Mayfield but accepts matters from only selected parts of Graves County, the page plan should reflect that boundary. If the firm serves Kentucky more broadly, a Mayfield page may be one part of a larger service-and-city structure rather than the entire strategy. Bosseo’s public product description says firms can choose the whole state or only counties they select.
Recommended approach
Bring a service-area map to the review. Separate Mayfield from Graves County and from any other Kentucky locations you serve. Ask which cities and counties deserve dedicated pages, which should be excluded, and what evidence the firm will use to expand coverage. Treat the Census population estimate as a planning reference, not a forecast of inquiries.
