1. Set the geographic boundary before setting a budget
The U.S. Census Bureau records Lyndon as a municipality in Jefferson County, Kentucky, with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 11,030 and a margin of error of 50. That is geographic and population context only. It does not establish legal need, search volume, competition or likely lead volume. For an LSA campaign, the relevant decision is narrower: whether the firm wants inquiries from Lyndon, from other parts of Jefferson County, or from additional areas it actually serves. Bosseo’s public Local Services Ads description identifies service zones and geography as campaign settings.
Recommended approach
Bring a written service-area policy to the consultation. Separate Lyndon from the rest of Jefferson County and any broader Kentucky coverage. Then decide which areas belong in the profile, which areas should be excluded and how an out-of-area inquiry will be classified. A smaller, deliberate geographic scope may make intake and lead-quality review easier; the correct choice depends on your practice, capacity and licensing—not on Lyndon’s population alone.
