1. Put La Grange geography into the measurement question
A firm may describe its service area as La Grange, Oldham County, Kentucky, or another defined area. Those labels are not interchangeable. The Census identifies La Grange as a municipality in Oldham County, while the population estimate applies to the city itself. A dashboard review should therefore ask how geography is represented in rankings, lead records, source attribution and matter reporting. Do not treat a city population as proof that a practice area has demand or that a marketing channel is producing cases.
Recommended approach
Before adopting any reporting view, write down the geographic definitions your firm uses. Ask to see how city and county information would be separated, what a city field means, and which source or page is credited when a contact reaches out. If your firm serves areas beyond La Grange, decide whether those areas should be evaluated separately rather than folded into one local total.
