Does AI Answering replace our Mulvane law firm’s front desk?+
Bosseo’s public description says the firm’s team receives the first ring and the AI steps in when nobody answers within 20 seconds. It is presented as a safety net for missed calls, not a replacement for your team. Confirm the routing and threshold for your phone setup.
What does the system collect from a caller?+
Bosseo says the system captures case details, timelines and contact information, and provides a transcript and case summary. Your firm should decide which questions are appropriate, which matters require human review and what information must not be treated as a legal conclusion.
Can the system distinguish new inquiries from current clients?+
Bosseo says calls are classified as Potential New Client, Current Client or Other. Classification supports triage; it does not determine whether a person qualifies for representation. Establish your own review and escalation rules.
Can we use it for calls from Sedgwick and Sumner counties?+
The product page describes call coverage and intake capture, while Census records Mulvane’s relationship with Sedgwick County and Sumner County. Geography alone does not establish eligibility. Review how your firm wants location asked, recorded and used in its service-area policy.
Where do the call records go?+
Bosseo says transcripts, summaries and caller information can be delivered to your inbox or case-management system. Confirm the available destination, access controls, retention arrangements and staff ownership during your consultation before relying on the workflow.
How should we judge whether AI Answering is worthwhile?+
Start with your own unanswered-call and follow-up records. Review response ownership, qualified inquiries, consultations and later outcomes separately. Do not use Mulvane’s population estimate as a forecast of calls, cases or revenue, and do not assume answering a call guarantees a client.
