1. Define what a Louisburg lead means before you count one
Louisburg is recorded as a city in Miami County, not as a synonym for the whole county or the Kansas market. That distinction matters when a managing partner asks whether a contact came from Louisburg, elsewhere in Miami County, or another service area. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard text describes contacts classified as Potential New Client, Current Client or Other, with leads tagged by case type. It also describes source attribution by channel and page. Those capabilities can make a dashboard more useful, but they do not remove the need for your firm to agree on definitions. A form, call or intake should not automatically be treated as a signed matter or revenue.
Recommended approach
During the review, ask to see how the dashboard distinguishes a potential client from a current client, vendor or spam contact, and how a Louisburg location is represented. Decide whether your internal reporting will use city, county, practice area, source, matter status or a combination. Keep population as context only; do not use the 5,094 estimate as a forecast.
