1. Start with the right Fort Riley geography
Fort Riley is recorded as a census-designated place in Kansas, with relationships to Geary County and Riley County. A firm may describe its service area differently from the CDP boundary, so “Fort Riley,” either county, Kansas, and any metropolitan area should not be treated as interchangeable labels. The dashboard page describes tracking for service-and-city targets and city-level decisions, but the appropriate targets for your firm still need to be defined. Population is eligibility context only; it does not show that people in the CDP are searching for a particular legal service or that they will become clients.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geographic definition to the review. Separate Fort Riley CDP from Geary County, Riley County, Kansas and any metropolitan-area targets. Ask how each label would appear in rankings, lead classification, source attribution and case-type reporting. Approve only measurements that match the firm’s actual service territory.
