1. Define the geography before you interpret the numbers
Your firm may serve El Dorado, other parts of Butler County, or a broader Kansas area. Those are different geographic scopes, and a dashboard should not blur them. Bosseo’s public description refers to service-and-city keyword targets, city data and rankings across a state. Before evaluating a dashboard, ask how an El Dorado target would be separated from Butler County coverage and from wider Kansas tracking. The Census record identifies El Dorado city as a municipality in Butler County; it does not establish where prospective clients search, call or retain counsel.
Recommended approach
Write the geographic scope into the measurement plan. Decide whether each tracked item belongs to El Dorado, Butler County, another named service area or statewide coverage. Require the dashboard review to distinguish geographic reporting from conclusions about demand. If a city-level view is shown, treat it as a measurement boundary—not evidence that the city produced a matter.
