Define De Soto coverage before setting an LSA profile
The Census identifies De Soto as a municipality associated with Johnson County and Leavenworth County. Those relationships matter when you decide which locations the firm actually serves. They do not mean that every person in either county is a prospective client, and they do not justify treating both counties as one advertising market. A service area may also differ by practice area, court location, travel expectations or the firm’s capacity. Local Services Ads should therefore be evaluated against the firm’s real geographic policy rather than against the city name alone.
Recommended approach
List the locations your firm accepts for each practice area. Separate De Soto from broader Johnson County and Leavenworth County coverage, then review whether each location belongs in the profile, the budget discussion and lead qualification rules. Ask Bosseo to examine geographic coverage as a deliberate choice instead of expanding it automatically.
