1. Define the territory before spending on leads
The Census record identifies Osceola as a municipality in Clarke County. It does not establish that every resident searches for a lawyer, that a particular practice area is underserved, or that advertising will produce a given number of calls. Your first decision is therefore geographic: should the profile focus on Osceola, extend through Clarke County, or include other areas the firm genuinely serves? That choice should follow licensure, office capacity, court coverage and preferred case types—not population alone. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads description identifies service-zone and practice-area targeting as program settings. It also says budgets and targeting can be adjusted as circumstances change.
Recommended approach
List the communities and matter types your firm can accept, then separate them into preferred, possible and excluded territory. Review whether each proposed area is within the firm’s actual service scope before it is used in an LSA profile. Treat Osceola and Clarke County as geographic starting points for review, not as proof of advertising demand.
