Start with the current site, not the hosting label
A “dedicated” label does not, by itself, tell you whether a move is appropriate. Begin with the website you operate for Johnston and the rest of your service area. Identify the current host, domain registrar, DNS provider, email records, content management system, databases, forms and external services. Bosseo says it can migrate existing sites and handle files, databases, DNS, SSL and email records as part of its migration process. Those items should be confirmed against your actual site before any decision is made.
Recommended approach
Ask for a written inventory of dependencies and a proposed migration boundary. Confirm what Bosseo would manage, what would remain under your firm’s control and which items require access from another vendor. Do not approve a move until the inventory includes every public-facing intake path and any administrative account needed to restore the site.
