1. Separate Clive geography from source evidence
Your service area may involve Clive, Dallas County, Polk County, the wider metropolitan area or Iowa, but those labels are not interchangeable. A lead may live in one place, search from another and reach a page written for a different geographic relationship. The Census record establishes Clive’s municipal status, its county relationships and its population estimate; it does not show which legal services people need or how many inquiries any channel generates.
Recommended approach
Agree on the geographic fields your firm actually needs before reviewing attribution. For example, decide whether intake should distinguish a Clive matter from a Dallas County matter, a Polk County matter and a broader Iowa inquiry. Then compare those fields with the landing page, referrer and channel. Do not treat a Clive visit as proof that Clive produced the matter.
