1. Define Cherokee coverage before discussing budget
Cherokee and Cherokee County are related but different geographic descriptions. Your firm should decide whether an LSA profile should focus on Cherokee, serve the wider county, or include other areas your attorneys actually handle. The Census record identifies Cherokee as a municipality in Cherokee County; it does not establish how far a prospective client will travel or where Google will show an ad. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads page describes practice-area categories and service-area settings as program controls.
Recommended approach
Bring a written list of accepted locations, excluded locations and matters that require in-person availability. Ask Bosseo to review how those boundaries would be represented in the profile and whether the proposed coverage is consistent with your capacity. Do not expand geography merely because a larger area appears attractive; decide it against consultation availability and eligibility rules.
