Is Dedicated Hosting automatically the right choice for an Atlantic law firm?+
No. Atlantic’s municipality and Cass County relationship provide geographic context, but they do not establish a technical requirement. Compare your current site, traffic information if available, content platform, dependencies, security needs and recovery expectations with the proposed scope.
What does Bosseo publicly describe as included?+
Bosseo’s Dedicated Hosting page describes dedicated servers, speed tuning, 24/7 monitoring, automatic daily backups, SSL, firewall and DDoS protection, managed security updates and migration support. Confirm the exact scope and responsibilities for your website before agreeing to it.
Will hosting migration affect our email?+
It can if DNS or mail-related records are changed incorrectly. Bosseo’s page says email records are handled during migration, but your firm should identify its email provider and require those records to be reviewed and tested as part of the cutover plan.
How should we evaluate the backup claim?+
Ask what “daily backups” includes, how long backups are retained, where they are stored, who can request restoration, how restoration is tested and what recovery target applies. Do not treat a backup frequency alone as a complete recovery plan.
Can hosting guarantee Google visibility?+
No hosting statement should be read as a guarantee of crawling, indexing, rankings or leads. Google says automation does not guarantee search visibility and that scaled content needs original value, accuracy and relevance. Hosting can be reviewed as one technical dependency, not as a substitute for useful content or sound search practices.
What should we retain control over?+
Discuss ownership and access for the domain, registrar, DNS, website administration, content, forms and email-related services. Ask for a permissions map and a process for adding or removing users. The consultation should resolve these questions for your firm rather than rely on a generic assumption.
