Use Adel and Dallas County to define the intake boundary
Your firm may describe its service area as Adel, Dallas County or a wider Iowa practice area. Those are not interchangeable audiences. Adel is a city, while Dallas County is the county relationship recorded for the municipality. Intake Coach should therefore be evaluated against the geographic scope your firm actually serves, rather than against the city’s population as a proxy for legal demand. The Census estimate of 6,430 applies to Adel city for the 2020–2024 ACS 5-year period; it does not show how many people will call, what matters they have or how many conversations your team handles.
Recommended approach
Before a consultation, write down the locations and matter types your firm accepts. Then ask how call review would distinguish a suitable Adel inquiry from a Dallas County inquiry outside your practice area or an Iowa matter requiring a different response. Keep the location question factual and operational: where did the caller’s issue arise, where is the relevant court or agency, and does the firm serve that jurisdiction?
