1. Put Ross in the right geographic frame
Ross is a census-designated place in Lake County, Indiana. That relationship matters when you decide how the dashboard should label locations. A Ross result, a Lake County result and an Indiana result are not interchangeable. Nor should a place population be treated as a count of households, prospective clients or legal matters. Ask Bosseo to show how location fields will be named and grouped before you rely on city or county comparisons.
Recommended approach
Create a written geographic definition for every report: the place being measured, the broader county or state area, and the period covered. If your firm serves more than Ross, agree on whether a dashboard view should separate Ross from Lake County and other service areas. Keep the 6,751 population estimate as context only, not as a target for calls or cases.
