1. Start with Lowell’s actual service boundary
Your firm may serve Lowell itself, the wider Lake County area, or a more limited set of matters within Indiana. Those are different operating boundaries, and Intake Coach should be evaluated against the calls you actually receive rather than against a population estimate. The Census records Lowell as a municipality in Lake County and estimates its population at 11,073 for 2020–2024, with a margin of error of 59. That is useful geographic context, but it cannot tell you how many people contact your firm, which practice areas they ask about, or whether your team needs additional coverage.
Recommended approach
Before a consultation, write down the geographic areas and matter types your firm accepts. Compare that scope with the calls you want reviewed. Ask whether qualification questions identify location, deadlines, opposing parties, and other facts your attorneys require before accepting or declining a matter. Do not use Lowell’s population as a substitute for your own intake evidence.
