1. Define the geography before you judge the dashboard
Lakes of the Four Seasons is recorded as a census-designated place in Indiana. The Census record associates it with Lake County and Porter County. Those are distinct geographic relationships, not interchangeable audiences. A useful dashboard discussion should therefore identify whether a report concerns the CDP, either county, Indiana more broadly, or another service area. It should also distinguish households, individuals and cases rather than treating them as one measure. Bosseo’s public page says the dashboard can show city data and tracked service-and-city targets, but it does not establish what geographic configuration would be appropriate for your firm.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show the exact geographic labels that would appear in your account and to explain how a location is defined in each relevant report. Decide in advance whether county-level, state-level or place-level views are suitable for each practice area. Do not use the local population estimate as a forecast of calls, matters or revenue.
