1. Start with the footprint your firm can actually serve
Bosseo’s public Programmatic SEO page says a firm can choose statewide coverage or limit the engine to selected counties. For a Highland firm, the first decision is therefore not “How many pages can we publish?” It is whether Lake County is the correct starting boundary and whether your lawyers genuinely serve the cities included within it. Highland’s recorded relationship to Lake County makes it a relevant place to evaluate, but it does not establish that every Lake County city belongs in your footprint. If your firm also serves locations elsewhere in Indiana, those areas should be assessed separately rather than treated as part of Highland.
Recommended approach
List the Indiana counties and municipalities where your firm accepts matters, then remove places outside your real service boundary. Ask Bosseo to show how a Lake County-only scope would differ from broader Indiana coverage. Keep the decision tied to attorney availability, court or filing reach, client expectations and ethical marketing review—not population alone.
