1. Start with the geographic question, not the population number
Your firm may serve Brazil, Clay County or a broader Indiana area. Those are different geographic scopes, and a city population estimate cannot establish how many people search for legal help, how many contacts will arrive or which practice areas will produce matters. The dashboard should therefore make geographic definitions explicit. Bosseo’s public page says the product can show keyword rankings, case-type data and city data, but it does not establish a particular Brazil keyword set, county coverage or expected result. During evaluation, ask which locations would be tracked and how the firm would distinguish Brazil from Clay County and other Indiana targets.
Recommended approach
Write down the locations your firm actually wants to evaluate before reviewing the dashboard. Treat Brazil as the municipality identified by the Census record, Clay County as the recorded county relationship and Indiana as a broader state-level scope. Ask for a demonstration using your proposed geography, while treating any displayed figures as a review of measurement design rather than a forecast.
