1. Start with the geography you actually serve
Brazil city is recorded as a municipality in Clay County, Indiana. The 2020–2024 ACS five-year estimate lists 7,831 residents, with a margin of error of 475. That is a description of the city’s population, not evidence of legal demand, search volume, competition, lead volume or revenue. It also does not establish the geographic scope of your practice. Your firm may serve Brazil, other parts of Clay County, or a broader Indiana area; those are separate decisions from the city’s population record. Attribution should therefore preserve the geographic context attached to each inquiry instead of treating “Brazil” as a proxy for the whole market.
Recommended approach
Before reviewing a system, write down the service area you want to evaluate: Brazil city, Clay County, Indiana, or another defined area. Decide whether geography should be collected during intake, inferred from a web journey, reviewed by staff, or left for a consultation conversation. Ask to see how a lead’s location context would be interpreted without turning a population estimate into a demand forecast.
