1. Start with the geographic question your records can answer
Your firm may serve Alexandria, other parts of Madison County, and locations elsewhere in Indiana. Those are not interchangeable audiences, and a city population is not a measure of legal need or marketing opportunity. Before judging performance, decide which geography belongs in each report: Alexandria city, Madison County, another service area, or Indiana more broadly. Bosseo’s Lead Attribution page describes journeys by channel, referrer, landing page, device, sessions and intake answers. That level of detail can help you distinguish a local page visit from a broader Indiana inquiry, provided the geographic fields and matter records are reviewed carefully.
Recommended approach
Ask in a consultation how geographic reporting would be defined for your practice. Review whether a report can separate Alexandria from Madison County and from other locations you intentionally serve. Do not use the Census population estimate to set a lead target. Use it only as a boundary-setting fact, then use your own inquiry and case records to evaluate what is happening.
