1. Start with the firm’s actual answer path
Bosseo describes a team-first sequence: every call rings the firm’s people first, and the AI picks up when nobody answers within 20 seconds. That makes the first decision operational rather than geographic. A Wood River office may serve callers elsewhere in Madison County, but the local place name does not tell you which hours, queues or staff members currently handle calls. Review your existing routing before deciding whether the service fits. Identify the number callers use, the people who receive the first ring, the conditions that send a call to voicemail, and the person responsible for reviewing a captured call. Bosseo’s public page says the service can cover nights, weekends, holidays and overflow. Treat those as response paths to configure and test, not as evidence that your firm currently has a particular coverage gap.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to map your current call path against the proposed team-first fallback. Confirm how unanswered calls are forwarded, what happens during a busy line, and who owns the next action for a Wood River or Madison County caller. Keep the existing number and first-ring experience only if that arrangement matches your phone-system review.
