Define the geography before you interpret a number
The Census record identifies Quincy as a municipality in Adams County. That boundary matters when a dashboard displays city or county information. A Quincy city view should not automatically be treated as an Adams County view, an Illinois view or a metropolitan-area view. Those are different geographic questions. Bosseo’s public page says the dashboard can show case-type and city data, including which cities produce calls. Before you rely on that view, ask how a city is assigned to a lead, what happens when a caller is outside Quincy, and whether the dashboard distinguishes the caller’s location from the page or keyword being measured. The population estimate of 39,109 is useful for identifying the municipality being discussed, but it cannot validate demand or predict results.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to demonstrate the exact Quincy and Adams County labels you would see, explain geographic field definitions, and agree on which geography belongs in partner-level reporting. Treat any broader Illinois or metropolitan view as a separate measurement decision.
