1. Set the geographic frame before reading the numbers
Park Forest’s county relationships matter when a firm chooses the boundaries for its reporting. A Park Forest report should not silently treat the village, Cook County, Will County, Illinois, or a metropolitan area as interchangeable. The Census record identifies Park Forest as a municipality and associates it with Cook County and Will County; it does not establish where prospective clients search, where matters originate, or which geography a firm should target. The dashboard page describes city data, keyword rankings, calls and leads as measurable signals, but the firm still needs to define what “Park Forest” means for its own decisions.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels will be defined in the consultation. Separate municipality-level observations from countywide or statewide tracking. If the firm serves clients beyond Park Forest, decide whether those areas belong in the same view or in separate comparisons. Treat the population estimate as context for scope—not as a forecast of cases or revenue.
