1. Define the Midlothian service area before setting coverage
Midlothian is recorded as a municipality in Cook County. That does not mean a campaign should target only the village, and it does not establish that nearby communities should be included. Your appropriate geography depends on the matters you accept, where your attorneys meet clients, and how far the firm can serve them. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads page describes category and geography targeting, including deliberate service-area settings. The relevant decision is therefore not “How large is Midlothian?” It is “Which locations can produce acceptable matters without creating calls the firm cannot serve?”
Recommended approach
List the locations the firm intentionally serves, separate them from locations it may consider, and identify any areas it does not want to pay for. Review the proposed service zone against your intake rules and court or meeting logistics. Treat the Midlothian location as one defined municipal geography within Cook County, not as proof of a wider market.
