1. Set the geographic scope before judging review performance
A firm may serve McHenry city, other places in McHenry County, or a wider Illinois service area. Those are different reputational footprints. A Google Business Profile can be viewed by people outside the city, while a review request usually comes from a particular client relationship. The Census record identifies McHenry city’s relationship to McHenry County; it does not show where legal demand comes from or how many reviews a firm should receive. Bosseo’s public product page centers its review engine on Google Business Profile and describes campaigns to past happy clients plus continuing requests for new clients.
Recommended approach
Give Bosseo the exact service-area definition you want to evaluate: McHenry city, McHenry County, additional Illinois communities, or another stated scope. Ask how that scope will appear in reporting and how you will distinguish a review from a client who is relevant to the firm’s target geography. Do not use the city’s population as a forecast of review supply, leads or cases.
