1. Define what “ROI” means before reviewing the screen
The public ROI Dashboard description includes rankings, calls, leads, case types, retainers and revenue signals. Those terms do not automatically mean the same thing for every firm. A phone call is not necessarily a potential new client. A lead is not necessarily a retained matter. A ranking is not proof of a signed case. A Lemont firm should decide whether its internal definition of ROI stops at a qualified contact or continues through consultation, signed engagement and collected revenue. The village’s 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate is 17,820, with a margin of error of 40. That figure describes Lemont’s population estimate; it does not establish legal demand, search activity, competition, lead volume or revenue.
Recommended approach
Bring your firm’s existing definitions to the review. Ask Bosseo to show where each definition would appear, which fields are measured directly, and which outcomes would require firm-side confirmation. Do not approve a dashboard because it contains a revenue label; approve it when the definitions match your accounting and intake practices.
