1. Define the Lemont area before setting coverage
Lemont’s recorded county relationships include Cook County, DuPage County, and Will County. That geographic relationship matters because a firm may serve people in the municipality, nearby communities, one county, or several counties—and those are different targeting choices. The Census record does not say which places your firm serves, and it does not establish that a wider service area will produce better inquiries. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads description says the program includes practice-area categories and service areas set deliberately. The useful question is therefore not whether Lemont is large enough. It is whether the profile reflects the locations and matters your firm is prepared to handle.
Recommended approach
Bring a written service-area policy to the consultation. Separate Lemont from the counties and other municipalities you actually accept, and identify any location limits that apply to consultations, court appearances, or representation. Ask Bosseo to review how those boundaries should be represented in the LSA profile and how out-of-area inquiries will be identified.
