The public examples include client status portals, intake tools and internal dashboards. For a Justice firm, the relevant question is whether a recurring task crosses a meaningful operational boundary: an intake record moving into another system, a status update reaching a client, or a referral record being maintained outside the firm’s principal tools. The fact that your firm serves Justice and Cook County does not identify the right build. Your staff’s actual sequence does.
Recommended approach
Bring one plainly described annoyance to the consultation. Document who performs it, what information they use, which systems they touch, where a handoff fails and what a completed result must look like. If the issue is already handled adequately by software you own, custom development may not be warranted.
