1. Set the service area without confusing Glencoe with Cook County
Your firm may want inquiries from Glencoe, nearby communities or a broader Cook County area. Those are different geographic choices. Glencoe is a municipality, and the Census record places it in Cook County; neither fact establishes that every Cook County searcher is a suitable client or that a Glencoe-focused profile will produce a particular number of inquiries. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads page says its program includes service-area and practice-area settings. That makes coverage a decision to review deliberately rather than a detail to leave at a default.
Recommended approach
Begin with the clients you are actually prepared to serve. Separate Glencoe from broader Cook County coverage in your planning notes, then identify any Illinois service boundaries that apply to your practice. Ask Bosseo how those boundaries would be represented in the Local Service Ads profile and how inquiries outside the intended area would be identified. Do not expand geography solely because a larger area sounds more productive.
