1. Define what “Deerfield” means in your reporting
Deerfield village is recorded in both Cook County and Lake County. That matters when a firm reviews local performance: a report should distinguish the municipality from either county and from any broader service area the firm chooses to track. The Census population estimate describes the village; it does not show how many people search for legal services, how many matters originate there or how many cases a firm will sign. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says the product can show rankings by service-and-city target, which gives the consultation a useful starting point for reviewing geographic labels. It does not, by itself, establish the right target set for your practice.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how Deerfield, Cook County and Lake County would be named and separated in the dashboard. Decide whether a city label, county label or another service-area label is appropriate for each practice area. Require the final review to state what geographic field means before treating a location trend as a business signal.
