1. Start with Columbia’s actual service geography
A location label alone is not a measurement plan. Columbia city is associated with Monroe County and St. Clair County, so your firm should decide whether “Columbia” means the municipality, selected county areas, or a broader Illinois service territory. Households, individuals and nearby communities should not be treated as interchangeable. The Census population estimate is useful for defining the place under review, but it cannot tell you how many people need a lawyer, how many will search, or how many will contact your firm. Lead Attribution can be evaluated against the geography your firm actually serves by reviewing landing pages, referral paths and matter records within that defined scope.
Recommended approach
Before booking, write down the municipalities, counties and Illinois service areas you want separated in reporting. Ask Bosseo how a lead’s landing page, intake answers and eventual outcome would be reviewed by geography, and do not accept a report that treats every Illinois visit as a Columbia opportunity.
