1. Start with the service area you can actually serve
Bosseo says its programmatic SEO can cover a whole state or only counties the firm chooses. For a firm evaluating Chillicothe, the relevant geographic relationship is specific: Chillicothe city is recorded in Peoria County, Illinois. That does not establish that every city in Illinois, every community in Peoria County, or every nearby metropolitan area belongs in your marketing footprint. It also does not show that a page for every possible location would be useful. The first decision is therefore operational: which places can your attorneys serve, where can they accept matters, and which locations should be excluded?
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to model a Peoria County footprint separately from a statewide footprint. Review the included cities, the services paired with them, and whether each page would contain information materially relevant to a prospective client. Treat population as eligibility context only, not as a proxy for demand. A narrower footprint may be easier to review and align with your intake capacity; a broader footprint requires a clear reason for every additional service-location combination.
