1. Define the reputation footprint before changing it
Aurora is recorded as a municipality, and the Census record associates it with DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and Will counties. That does not mean every resident in those counties is a prospective client or that every county should be treated as part of your service area. A reputation review should begin with the firm’s actual geographic coverage: the Aurora services you offer, the surrounding communities you intentionally serve, and the Google Business Profile or profiles that represent the firm. Bosseo’s public product page centers its service on Google Business Profile. In a consultation, you can ask which profile, service areas, and practice-specific concerns should be included rather than treating the whole four-county relationship as one audience.
Recommended approach
Bring your current service-area description, profile links, practice areas, and any geographic limits you use in client-facing materials. Decide which Aurora-area relationships are relevant to the review and which are outside the firm’s intended coverage.
