1. Set the geographic boundary before judging a source
A Preston inquiry and a Franklin County inquiry are not automatically the same market record. Preston is a city; Franklin County is the county relationship recorded for it. A firm may serve clients in Preston, elsewhere in Franklin County, or beyond, but those territories should not be blended casually in reporting. Bosseo’s Lead Attribution page says its records can include the landing page, channel and referrer, while its stated purpose is to show where a client came from. That creates a useful review question: does each inquiry retain enough location context for your team to decide whether it fits the firm’s service area?
Recommended approach
Define the geographic labels your firm actually uses before reviewing performance. Keep Preston city separate from Franklin County and from any broader Idaho coverage. In a consultation, ask how location is recorded, how an inquiry outside the preferred area is handled, and whether geography can be reviewed alongside case type and source.
