1. Set the geographic boundary before spending
Nampa is located in Canyon County, and the firm may serve clients beyond the city. Those are different geographic choices. A Nampa profile should therefore distinguish the municipality from the county and from any other area the firm is authorized and prepared to serve. Population data cannot tell you how many people seek counsel, which case types are present or how many firms compete for them. The decision belongs in a service-area review: identify accepted locations, excluded locations, travel limits and the matters the intake team can handle.
Recommended approach
Start with a written coverage map. Compare Nampa, Canyon County and any additional service territory against licensing, staffing, court coverage and consultation capacity. Change one geographic variable at a time when reviewing inquiry quality so the firm can see whether an out-of-area lead is a targeting problem, an intake problem or an acceptable referral opportunity.
