Set the geographic boundary before spending
The Census records Idaho Falls city as a municipality in Bonneville County. That distinction matters when you define an advertising area: the city, the county and any surrounding communities are not interchangeable. A firm may want inquiries from Idaho Falls only, from Bonneville County, or from a broader area it actually serves. The right choice depends on your practice, eligibility, travel expectations and capacity—not on the city population alone. Bosseo’s public Local Services Ads page says its program includes practice-area categories and service areas. That makes geographic scope an implementation decision to review rather than a conclusion to assume.
Recommended approach
Write down the places your firm is prepared to serve, then compare that list with the areas you want an LSA profile to present. Ask Bosseo to review how each proposed boundary could affect relevance, budget control and lead qualification. Keep Idaho Falls city and Bonneville County separate in your reporting so you can see where inquiries originate.
