Start with the geography your firm actually serves
The U.S. Census Bureau records Hailey as a municipality in Blaine County. Its 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate is 9,665, with a margin of error of 18. That is an eligibility fact for local planning, not evidence of legal demand, search volume, competition, calls or cases. Attribution should therefore preserve geography as a field your firm can review, rather than turning the population figure into a marketing forecast. During consultation, ask how an inquiry associated with Hailey would be distinguished from one elsewhere in Blaine County or Idaho, and whether the distinction comes from the person’s information, the landing page, the intake answer or another documented field.
Recommended approach
Define the geographic questions you need answered before judging performance. At minimum, decide whether you need to separate Hailey city from Blaine County and from the broader Idaho service area. Do not use the Census estimate as a proxy for lead volume.
