1. Start with Waipio’s actual service area
Waipio CDP is recorded in Honolulu County. If your firm serves Waipio as part of a wider Honolulu County or Hawaii practice area, the intake should reflect the geographic boundaries you actually use. A visitor may need to identify where an incident occurred, where a matter is pending, or whether your firm accepts the relevant jurisdiction. Those are intake questions to decide with counsel; they should not be inferred from the CDP population estimate.
Recommended approach
Map the locations and jurisdictional facts that affect acceptance before writing the survey. Decide whether location belongs near the beginning of a path, whether it changes routing, and when the visitor should be told that completing an intake does not establish representation. Keep Waipio-specific wording accurate rather than presenting Honolulu County, Hawaii, and Waipio as interchangeable areas.
