1. Set a Kailua footprint without confusing population with demand
Kailua’s Census geography is the Kailua CDP, and its recorded county relationship is Hawaii County. The population estimate provides a factual way to describe the place, but it does not establish how many people search for a lawyer, which services they need, or how difficult those searches are. It also does not establish that a firm serves every part of Hawaii County or every nearby community. Your first decision is therefore geographic: define whether the site should cover Kailua alone, selected areas within the firm’s service territory, selected counties, or a broader Hawaii footprint. Bosseo’s public product description says the program can be scoped to a whole state or only counties chosen by the firm.
Recommended approach
Bring a precise service-area list to the consultation. Treat Kailua as one candidate location, then compare it with the counties and communities your attorneys actually serve. Do not expand coverage merely because a place has a measurable population. Expand only when the firm can provide accurate, useful information and a real path for an eligible prospective client to contact the firm.
