1. Set Hilo and Hawaii County boundaries before choosing stories
The Census record identifies Hilo CDP as a census-designated place in Hawaii County. It does not establish a Hilo metropolitan area, local search volume, competition, case demand or likely revenue. That distinction matters when a story involves a named road, court, agency or incident outside Hilo. Bosseo’s public Legal News page describes monitoring local and national legal-news sources for a firm’s state and matching stories to practice areas. Before using the service, ask how geographic relevance would be handled when a story is statewide, countywide or specific to another Hawaii community. A Hilo page should not imply that every Hawaii event occurred in Hilo or that every reader is a potential client.
Recommended approach
Define the geographic language your firm will approve: Hilo, Hawaii County, statewide Hawaii, or another precisely identified location. Review whether proposed headlines and calls to action preserve that distinction.
