1. Start with the journey, not the client’s memory
A person who says “Google” may have used several paths before contacting your firm. Bosseo describes Lead Attribution as showing the channel, referrer, landing page, device, sessions, and intake answers associated with a lead. The product page also states that calls can join the same journey. That distinction matters when your firm serves Hawaiian Paradise Park but does not know whether an inquiry began on a local page, another service page, a referral, an organic result, an AI referral, or a Local Services Ad. The CDP’s population estimate does not identify any of those paths. Only your recorded journeys can do that.
Recommended approach
Review whether your present intake records preserve first contact, return visits, source page, and call or form context. If they do not, make journey-level attribution the first measurement decision rather than assuming that a client’s recalled source is complete.
