Start with the firm’s real service area—not a population assumption
The U.S. Census Bureau records Waycross city as a municipality with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 13,756 and a margin of error of 20. The recorded county relationships are Pierce County and Ware County. That information establishes geographic context; it does not establish legal demand, competition, search volume, lead volume, case volume, or revenue. It also does not mean that every client lives inside the city or either listed county. A reputation plan should therefore begin by identifying where the firm actually accepts matters and where its Google Business Profile is intended to be relevant.
Recommended approach
Map the firm’s service area separately from the Waycross city boundary and from Pierce and Ware counties. Decide whether the review process should speak to one local market, multiple counties, or a broader Georgia practice. Keep those decisions distinct from any population figure.
