1. Start with McDonough’s actual calling area
McDonough and Henry County are not interchangeable with Georgia, a judicial circuit or a particular court. The Census record identifies McDonough as a municipality within Henry County; it does not show where your callers live, where matters arise or which courts are relevant. Before configuring responses, review the geographic questions your firm actually asks callers. A location answer may need to be recorded as a city, county, court or another place connected to the matter. Those fields should not be collapsed into one generic “local” label.
Recommended approach
Create a geographic review list for your practice areas. Decide which locations should trigger staff review, which are simply recorded for context, and which questions the answering system should not attempt to interpret. Have your team confirm the distinction before publishing any caller-facing language.
